氫氧化鋁阻燃劑具有超細粒度、良好的粒度分布、較高的含量和白度，同時具有較低的吸油值；使用進口硅烷偶聯劑進行充分的表面改性處理，在高分子材料中不但具有很好的分散性和相容性而且高填充后仍然保持材料具有優越的物理性能。試驗的結果表明:氫氧化鋁與環氧樹脂的質量比為(75～80)∶100時,樹脂材料的UL-94燃燒等級可達到V0等級,氧指數可達36%～37%。由此類樹脂材料制備的覆銅板的最大煙密度值降低到285.2以下,降低幅度達60%以上,氫氧化鋁的阻燃效果良好。
